Good Kids

Sometimes I look at my kids and their goodness just overwhelms me. I am so grateful to know them.

William Things on a Thursday

This morning William packed the cutest lunch box for him and Matthew.  There were two juice boxes,  a Tupper ware full of shredded cheese, two Tupper wares full of honey nut cheerios, a box of raisins,  and a notebook with a pen. He came up to me looking so accomplished with himself. Then,  he went and chose out clothes for him and Matthew.  I know William is in a motivated mood when on his own, he chooses jeans for pants. He typically beelines it for pajama pants, to which I convince him to at least trade out the monster/minion/baseball print for some solid sweat pants. Each of his decent sweatpants have have specific nicknames: ninja pants, comfy pants, belly pants. (Belly pants because the pull up past his belly button.) Anyways, where was I? When William asked me to button his jeans, I knew he was in a productive state of mind. He got Matthew's clothes, and since William was wearing jeans, Matthew now felt he could too.

William said to walk down the stairs in between him and Matthew.  I said,  "Like a prisoner?"
He looked at me like I was crazy and said, "No! Like a princess!"

He started pushing buttons on the microwave and pushed start, then said: "Oh No! I'm burning the air, right?"

He is at a sweet stage right now.
