There were a lot of distractions leading up to the 4th of July this year. One being our travel plans to Florida the next day, another Emma being very sick the two weeks leading up to the holiday. I was so tired, I wasn’t sure if we would pull it off. With all that said, I am extra grateful for such a fun day we were able to share together.
We decorated, went bowling, got scoops of ice cream at Sherm’s, barbecued hot dogs, ate watermelon, and then joined neighbors for fire works. It really felt like a perfect celebratory day and I’m so grateful. We typically gather to grill and we typically do some outdoor adventure, but given the circumstances I didn’t know if we’d do anything!
I love the 4th of July and I love celebrating everything miraculous and moving about our country. It was a great day
