This year we were barely able to squeeze in a trip to Rudolph’s Christmas Tree Farm. Oh, how it brought me joy. I love seeing our kids run up the tree covered hills playing hide and go seek, with Emma toddling after in her pink rain boots. Cate and John took limber Jack duty, and as soon as I laid flat on the ground to watch Cate saw down our tree, it was like a time continuum and she was 9 again doing this very thing.
We came home and strung lights on our very perfect tree and watched Home Alone. The perfect night. What a great day to kick off the Christmas season.
