- Gave eachother make overs with my make-up.
- Shattered Caity's Christ statue to access Caity's jewelry box.
- Hid under Matthew's bed during nap time with yogurt.
- Licked Jelly Beans and stuck them to the back of the couch.
- Ran outside and up and down the street in their pajamas and no shoes.
- Pulled all the sheets off all of the beds
- Divided all my cleaning supplies and had a "spray war" across my dining room floor. (at least it smelled nice...)
I know what you must be thinking: "What, Mary, were YOU doing during all these escapades?!"
I'm telling you people: I was tying my shoes, I was starting the dishwasher, I was hanging up towels, I was putting something away in Caity's room...I was not being negligent...those stinkers just work fast.
I also feel like I should mention: no matter what scolding I try- they laugh. They look at each other and giggle, and I realize I have zero clout with them. However, by the end of the day they typically come to me and apologize for their long lists of grievances for the day, then tell me they love me and all is right in the world. I also have to give them credit: they typically don't do the same "wrong" repeatedly, they are just so creative that their options of mischief are literally endless.
Goodness: if they weren't so stinkin' cute.
Also, here is a start to a story Caity is writing, and my mom-ness is basically exploding because I think I must have the most talented daughter in the whole wide world of the whole universe. :) Seriously though- I was impressed and felt the need to document it! (PS- how she spelt tragic!)
