Just a Wednesday in May

Wednesdays are typically busy play days.
We meet up with a play group at 10:30 am, then another one at 3:30 pm. I really love watching the kids run around with their friends. There are almost always secret societies, games of lava monster, and scooter/bike/rollerblade races. By the time we get home, everyone is exhausted.
Yesterday morning the boys were rock jumping, frog hunting,  and flower racing in a little pond at the park. It was seriously the cutest. There was only one casuality. (Which meant Matthew had to wear William's fleece camo jacket that I hate, but William loves...which meant William lost his mind! Not pleasant, but we survived. Haha.)

John had to work late, so the kids and I had a Matilda party after dinner. Johnny and Caity have both finished the book, so it was a fun little movie night with treats.  I'm a big Roald Dahl fan, and the movie is done so well! We had a big dance party after, where I introduced my kids to some 90's classics. There was a lot of jumping, twisting, and laughing.
When John got home,  we went running and it was the best ending to a long and busy day. I am soooo ready for summer!!
